Well gee, where did everyone go? Last time I held a poll, everyone who polled wanted a contest, and now they've all escaped! But really, would you REALLY be serious about having a contest if you polled for it? And despite having a large roster of members, nobody sent me any contest entries! Pah, talk about dead. I must have the most horrible advertisement skills. ever.

If you have an ACF, FFVII: AC, DoC, BC or Final Fantasy related piece of artwork that you'd like to share here, please send us a note and we will place it in the deviations gallery. In the note, please put a link to the full-size image file itself, not the deviation page with the comments, etc. If it's a collaboration, please let us know and give the names of the artists involved, so we can give proper credit. If you have also posted it at an art thread in ACF and would like a link to it here, put that in your note as well.

Non-Members
If you're not yet a part of the ACF community, but would like to submit Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis or Final Fantasy related artwork, please send us a note. You'll be able to see the artwork under favorites. Due to DeviantART's policy on favorites abuse, we will no longer be able to put your artwork up in favorites if you decide to join the ACF community, but you may request to have your artwork submitted normally for members instead.

CONTEST
It's finally here: a contest. Thanks for those of you who polled. If you're not happy with having a contest, then too bad you didn't vote. But if you wanted sig graphics instead, that's alright, because we're going to shoot two birds with one stone; that's right--the subject of this contest is a sig graphic for members to stick in their sig or journal. Please read the following guidelines:

• You can make more than one sig graphic.
  
• Please make sure it's not too large or else it might not fit in the dialogue box. The maximum size for ACF sig graphics is 500px in width. The height should probably not exceed 100px, but that's just a guideline. You can make it as small as you want though.
  
• The sig graphic must be in some way related to ACF. Granted, it should have something to do with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but you can include stuff from Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, or something related to Final Fantasy VII.
  
• You may use your own artwork. If you use someone else's artwork, please give them credit. I would discourage using someone else's artwork though.
  
• Please make sure that by looking at the graphic, one can easily see that it's from ACF. You don't have to use text (I don't know how anyone could do this, but I'd be very impressed if you could do that), but anyone should be able to look at it and clearly see that it's for ACF.
  
• You may use official artwork or CG renders by Square, but please make a note saying that you used their work.
  
• Your graphic must not contain any offensive, pornographic or tasteless material.
  
• The graphic can be animated.
  
• You must be a member to enter the contest.
  
• The deadline is March 24.
  
• If you decide to enter, please send us a note with links to your entries.
  


EDIT: Just so that we don't have any confusion about what the sig graphics are used for, they will be primarily used at ACF rather than here. So when you put the graphic in your sig at ACF, people will know that there's an ACF community at DA. It turns out that I haven't found a way to put graphics in sigs at DA anyways, but if anyone knows more about this, I'd be happy to know more about it. Of course, you can still put the graphic in your DA journal if you like it better than the avatar.

Contests, Requests, etc.
The ACF community at DeviantART is still new, so we're looking to get some header graphics for the journal. If we get enough members, we may even start a contest. If anyone is interested, please send a note. Other contest ideas or suggestions will also be appreciated. It seems we have enough people to start a contest, but it won't work unless enough people are interested.
